Shanaya Kapoor, who is making her Bollywood debut in a Karan Johar film, is part of Vrushabha. IndiaToday.in got some exclusive details about Ekta Kapoor's film with director Nanda Kishore.

By Latha Srinivasan: Shanaya Kapoor, Bollywood actor Sanjay Kapoor's daughter, will make her South debut with Mohanlal's film Vrushabha. She has already been announced as being part of the cast of this film produced by Ekta Kapoor. Now, IndiaToday.in has learnt more details about her role in this pan-Indian film. Vrushbha is directed by Kannada director Nanda Kishore.

Sources told IndiaToday.in exclusively, "The story is about a father and son relationship. Shanaya Kapoor has a very dynamic role in Vrushabha. This movie is a period film - it has a past and present. Shanaya plays a pivotal role in this film as she is the one who bridges the past and the present. The role is both glamourous and performance-oriented. This movie is a high-octane action drama."
